East Coast Railway informed that the some of the Train Services between Howrah and Kharagpur will be Diverted/Partially cancelled/Fully cancelled
due to Modernisation work as given below from 28-May-2013 onwards.
Trains Diverted :
The following trains will be diverted via Asansol - Adra - Hijli route instead of passing through Kharagpur.
12514 Guwahati - Secunderabad Express on 30-May-2013 and 07-Jun-2013
12508 Guwahati - Ernakulam Express on 31-May-2013 and 07-Jun-2013
15902 Dibrugarh - Yesvantpur Express on 31-May-2013 and 07-Jun-2013
12510 Guwahati - Bangalore Express on 27-May-2013, 28-May-2013 and 02-Jun-2013, 03-Jun-2013, 04-Jun-2013, 09-Jun-2013, 10-Jun-2013
12516 Guwahati - Trivandrum Express on 29-May-2013 and 05-Jun-2013
Trains Partially cancelled :
The following trains will be cancelled between Howrah and Kharagpur
58004/58003 Bhadrak - Howrah - Bhadrak passenger will run between Bhadrak and Kharagpur only from 30-May-2013 to 11-Jun-2013.
58002 Puri - Santragachhi passenger from 30-May-2013 to 11-Jun-2013 will run between Puri and Kharagpur only.

Refund for the cancelled train tickets :
If the train is cancelled due to an accident then FULL REFUND is permitted within THREE DAYS excluding the train departure day. This is applicable for both Normal and Tatkal tickets.
For the tickets booked thru IRCTC website the refund can be processed thru TDR. Check the page 'How to file TDR' for details.
When filing TDR select the option 'Train Cancelled By Railways and Passenger Not Traveled' .
